Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain simulation environments for Model-in-the-Loop (MiL) Software-in-the-Loop (SiL) and Processor-in-the-Loop (PiL) testing.
- Design and execute test cases to validate control algorithms and embedded software functionality.
- Collaborate with system engineers and function developers to ensure requirements traceability from models to implementation.
- Perform functional testing of software components in simulated and real-time environments.
- Automate test workflows using MATLAB/Simulink Python or similar tools.
- Analyse test results diagnose root causes and propose corrective actions for continuous improvement.
- Support ongoing enhancement of model-based development (MBD) processes in compliance with ASPICE and ISO 26262 standards.
- Document test procedures results and ensure strict adherence to industry standards particularly ASPICE and ISO 26262.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors or masters degree in electrical engineering Computer Science Mechatronics or related field.
- Expertise in Model-in-the-Loop (MiL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SiL) methodologies.
- Exposure to Processor-in-the-Loop (PiL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) environments is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Python with experience in automation workflows.
- Experience with Embedded C/C programming is an advantage.
- Knowledge of ASPICE process framework and ISO 26262 functional safety standards.
- Demonstrated initiative and proactive problem-solving skills.
- Strong adaptability to project workflows processes and cross-functional activities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Automotive ECU software development and control systems experience.
- Knowledge of functional safety standards (ISO 26262).
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git SVN).
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous testing (CI/CT) pipelines.
