Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain simulation environments for Model-in-the-Loop (MiL) Software-in-the-Loop (SiL) and Processor-in-the-Loop (PiL) testing.
Design and execute test cases to validate control algorithms and embedded software functionality.
Collaborate with system engineers and function developers to ensure requirements traceability from models to implementation.
Perform functional testing of software components in simulated and real-time environments.
Automate test workflows using MATLAB/Simulink Python or similar tools.
Analyse test results diagnose root causes and propose corrective actions for continuous improvement.
Support ongoing enhancement of model-based development (MBD) processes in compliance with ASPICE and ISO 26262 standards.
Document test procedures results and ensure strict adherence to industry standards particularly ASPICE and ISO 26262.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors or masters degree in electrical engineering Computer Science Mechatronics or related field.
Expertise in Model-in-the-Loop (MiL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SiL) methodologies.
Exposure to Processor-in-the-Loop (PiL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) environments is an advantage.
Proficiency in Python with experience in automation workflows.
Experience with Embedded C/C programming is an advantage.
Knowledge of ASPICE process framework and ISO 26262 functional safety standards.
Demonstrated initiative and proactive problem-solving skills.
Strong adaptability to project workflows processes and cross-functional activities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Automotive ECU software development and control systems experience.
Knowledge of functional safety standards (ISO 26262).
Familiarity with version control systems (Git SVN).
Experience with continuous integration and continuous testing (CI/CT) pipelines.
