About this role:

Director Quality Assurance will directly manage QA team and will provide leadership in the development of test strategies design build review execution and automation of test cases.

What you will do:

The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive long-term Quality Assurance and Quality Engineering strategy that aligns with the companys goals and growth plans.

• Establish and enforce QA best practices processes and standards across teams covering functional non-functional performance and security testing.

• Define and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess the effectiveness of QA initiatives providing actionable insights and reports to senior leadership.

• Lead the integration of AI/ML technologies into testing frameworks to optimize outcomes enhance efficiency and increase test coverage.

• Champion a culture of innovation encouraging the exploration of new AI/ML techniques and methodologies within the QE teams.

• Lead mentor and develop a high-performing cross-functional team of QA engineers automation specialists

What you will need

Strong IT professional with 11-16 years of experience in software testing (websites and/or mobile applications). The candidate should have strong qualitative and quantitative critical thinking skills along with high on ownership and accountability.

Must have:

• 11-16 years of experience in QA including a minimum of 4 years in a management position.

• Hands on exposure to AI driven testing. Understanding of AI/ML concepts and their application in quality engineering familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms and experience with data analysis and quality management systems.

• Hands on experience in Nightwatch Playwright JUnit TestNG JMeter Cucumber Appium Postman and Report Portal

• Experience implementing and enforcing standards for manual and automated testing.

• Experience leading automation scripting and expertise in Java and/or JavaScript. Experience in developing/maintaining Test automation frameworks.

• Experience in estimation prioritization and planning/coordination of QA activities in a Scrum environment

• Solid experience in SQL queries and database testing.

• Experience leading project teams as well as coaching and developing direct reports and partnering with managers of other teams or domain areas.

Who you are

• Graduate/Postgraduate in BE/B tech ME/MTech or MCA are preferred.

• Excellent communication and prioritization skills.

• Able to work independently or within a team proactively in a fast-paced AGILE-SCRUM environment.

• Owns success Takes responsibility for successful delivery of the solutions.

• Ardent desire to improve upon their skills in software development frameworks and technologies.
