This is a full-time permanent position offering the opportunity to combine high-quality classroom teaching with subject leadership.

Responsibility for curriculum development and departmental leadership
As Head of Music you will be responsible for the strategic leadership of the Music department including curriculum planning across KS3 & KS4 with the opportunity to develop KS5 provision. You will lead and support staff manage resources and promote a rich extra-curricular programme including ensembles performances and school productions.
You will work closely with senior leadership to ensure high standards of teaching and learning strong pupil outcomes and a vibrant music culture across the school.

Qualified Music Teacher with QTS (or equivalent)
Experience teaching Music across KS3 & KS4 (KS5 desirable)
Previous leadership or responsibility within a Music department advantageous
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for performance and composition
