A large and well-run secondary school in Derby is looking to appoint a professional and approachable HR & Staff Services Administrator from January 2026.
This role is central to supporting the schools people operations ensuring staff are well supported from recruitment through to ongoing employment. You will work closely with senior leaders and line managers to maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safer recruitment and HR processes.
The school has a strong reputation for staff wellbeing and professional culture and the HR function is a key part of that success.
Responsibilities include:
Managing recruitment administration and pre-employment checks
Maintaining staff records contracts and compliance documentation
Supporting absence management and HR reporting
Acting as a first point of contact for staff HR queries
