The Role
As a KS1 Teacher you will teach pupils in Year 1 or Year 2 planning and delivering engaging lessons across all areas of the curriculum. You will create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity resilience and a love of learning.
You will also support pupils social emotional and behavioural development helping them develop confidence independence and strong interpersonal skills. Collaboration with teaching assistants SENCO and senior leadership will be essential in providing personalised support for all pupils including those with additional needs.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering high-quality differentiated lessons across the curriculum
Monitoring assessing and tracking pupil progress
Supporting pupils social emotional and behavioural development
Creating a safe inclusive and stimulating learning environment
Using a variety of teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners including SEN and EAL pupils
Collaborating with teaching assistants subject leaders and SENCO
Communicating effectively with parents carers and external agencies
Participating in CPD staff meetings and school initiatives
Contributing to extracurricular activities school trips and school events
Maintaining safeguarding health and safety standards
