As an EYFS Teaching Assistant you will:
Work closely with class teachers to support the learning and development of children aged 35
Assist in delivering structured and play-based learning activities
Support children with additional needs including SEN and EAL to ensure inclusive learning opportunities
Observe and record childrens progress providing feedback to teachers
Encourage childrens independence curiosity and confidence in the classroom
Help create a safe engaging and stimulating learning environment
You will also help with the preparation of resources assist in daily routines and contribute to school trips and extracurricular activities.
Supporting children in whole-class small-group and one-to-one activities
Delivering play-based learning experiences under the guidance of the class teacher
Supporting childrens social emotional and behavioural development
Helping manage classroom routines and transitions
Preparing resources and learning materials
Monitoring and documenting childrens development and progress
Supporting children with SEN EAL or other additional needs
Assisting with outdoor learning creative activities and physical play
Participating in team meetings training and school events
Supporting extracurricular activities and school outings
The school is looking for an EYFS Teaching Assistant who:
Has experience working with children aged 35
Understands early years pedagogy and child development principles

Can support children with SEN or EAL effectively
