Job Summary
We are seeking a licensed and flexible Relief Pharmacist to provide coverage across multiple pharmacy locations as needed. This role is ideal for a proactive and adaptable professional who excels in diverse environments and ensures seamless pharmacy operations during staff absences peak times or special projects.
Tasks
- Dispense prescriptions accurately and provide patient counseling.
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations in accordance with state/federal regulations.
- Supervise pharmacy staff and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Manage inventory controlled substances and pharmacy records.
- Provide immunizations and health screenings as permitted.
- Ensure a professional safe and compliant work environment.
Requirements
- Valid pharmacist license in Ontario.
- Proficiency with Fillware.
- Ability to quickly adapt to different pharmacy software and workflows.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel to assigned locations often on short notice.
- Reliability professionalism and a patient-focused attitude.
