Job Summary
WHAT YOU WILL BE CHALLENGED WITH
As part of our DevOps team youll play a key role in ensuring the scalability reliability and performance of EMILs cloud platform. Youll collaborate closely with software engineers to streamline our infrastructure automate deployments and evolve our system architecture to support a growing set of products and customers.
- Optimization and automation of processes in our software engineering environment
- Designing and maintaining scalable reliable and secure infrastructure on AWS (and occasionally other clouds)
- Implementing and improving Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines
- Monitoring analyzing and continuously improving system performance robustness and scalability
- Collaborating closely with software engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and enhance developer experience
- Designing resilient architectures for new services features and platform components
- Proactively identifying recurring operational issues and developing long-term solutions
- Providing input on improving internal processes and best practices across engineering
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Strong sense of ownership high-quality standards and initiative to improve systems and processes
- 5 years of experience in a similar DevOps SRE or infrastructure engineering role
- Experience with AWS
- Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code ideally Terraform
- Great affinity with CI/CD tools (e.g. GitHub Actions Jenkins GitLab CI) and container technologies (Docker ECS or Kubernetes)
- Good understanding of observability tools and performance monitoring
- A pragmatic solution-oriented mindset and the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- High quality standards self-initiative and willingness to take on responsibility
