Art Learning Support Assistant Ladbroke Grove Immediate Start July 2026
4 days per week (Mon Tues Thurs & Fri) Wednesdays dedicated to student volunteering
110.95 per day (inclusive of holiday pay) (term-time only approx. 17308 per year)
Are you a creative and committed Art graduate looking to support young people in a vibrant sixth form setting A fantastic opportunity has opened up for an Art Learning Support Assistant to join an ambitious Sixth Form College in Ladbroke Grove starting immediately and running until July 2026.
Youll work closely with students across Art-based subjects helping them build confidence develop technique and stay motivated throughout their studies. This is a brilliant stepping stone for anyone considering a future in teaching creative education or youth support.

Art Learning Support Assistant The Role
Provide in-class support across Art and related creative subjects
Assist students with coursework sketchbook development and practical projects
Encourage confidence creativity and independent working habits
Support students 1:1 or in small groups where needed
Help maintain a calm purposeful learning environment
Work closely with teaching staff to ensure students stay on track towards deadlines and assessment goals
The ideal Art Learning Support Assistant
Holds a degree in Art (or a closely related subject such as Fine Art Illustration Design Photography etc.)
Has experience working with young people (desirable but not essential)
Patient proactive and confident supporting students with varied learning needs
Passionate about education and creative development
Enhanced DBS required (or willing to complete a new one)
