Shift: Day Shift 5 8-hour shifts

Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support an Emergency Department Float Pool in a fast-paced acute care environment. This role requires flexibility strong teamwork skills and the ability to deliver high-quality patient-centered care across multiple emergency care settings. Prior Level I Trauma Center experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Department
Obtain and accurately document vital signs in a timely manner
Assist patients with activities of daily living including toileting bathing feeding and mobility
Serve as a safety companion for patients identified as safety risks
Demonstrate knowledge of normal growth and development across all age groups
Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and care needs
Communicate clearly and professionally with nurses physicians and interdisciplinary team members
Maintain a safe clean and supportive patient care environment
Participate in unit-based activities and quality improvement initiatives
Accurately obtain record exchange and communicate patient information
Uphold ethical standards patient confidentiality and professional conduct
Maintain positive public relations and engage in ongoing professional development
Required Qualifications
Current New York State CNA Certification
BLS Certification (required)
Minimum 1 year of patient care experience
Ability to meet all pre-employment health and compliance requirements
