We are looking for you to join our team at our location in the heart of Munich. as soon as possible as a design trainee (all genders welcome!)
Condé Nast Germany seeks a Design Trainee to act as a support in the production of layouts photo treatments collages and illustrations across print and digital platforms for AD Condé Nast Traveller GQ and Vogue. As part of the Art Production team this role will collaborate with the visuals team other designers and the editorial team to execute art for articles and features.
Responsibilities may include:
Create print layouts and artwork to represent story content clearly and accurately while also engaging readers.
Reporting to the Deputy Group Production Director this role works within the Art Production team to develop a unique visual language that aligns with the larger identity and mission of our brands.
Execute daily art requests from the editorial and creative teams.
Publish art daily producing digital assets and social cuts when necessary.
Collaborate in developing visual identities for larger multi-story packages as well as create templates for ongoing content franchises.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Graduated at degree level.
Some experience as an intern in the same industry or similar.
Examples of work designing across a range of print and digital platforms.
An enthusiasm for tackling conceptually challenging stories.
An organized multitasker able to meet hourly daily and weekly deadlines.
Able to work quickly without compromising quality.
Comfortable with consistent collaboration including soliciting and implementing feedback.
A working knowledge of Adobe CS software specifically InDesign Photoshop and Illustrator; experience with photo research and motion is a strong plus.
