Material Handler

Responsibilities:

• Safely transport raw materials work-in-progress (WIP) and finished goods between designated storage production and shipping areas using appropriate Material handling equipment (e.g. forklifts pallet jacks).
• Accurately receive label and store incoming materials in accordance with inventory and material control procedures.
• Pull stage and issue materials for production orders or customer shipments based on picking instructions or job travelers.
• Verify part numbers quantities and condition of materials prior to movement or staging.
• Ensure proper rotation of stock (e.g. FIFO) and segregation of nonconforming or quarantined items.
• Maintain accurate inventory transactions in ERP system D365 through data entry or scanning.
• Perform cycle counts and physical inventory as assigned.
• Identify and report any damaged mislabeled or nonconforming materials.
• Support packaging loading or unloading operations as needed.
• Adjust inventory locations or bins in WMS/ERP within their user-level access based on assigned responsibilities.
• Label quarantine or segregate nonconforming inventory as directed by Quality or Supervision.

Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Minimum Skill Requirements:

• Familiarity with basic inventory principles (e.g. FIFO stock rotation).
• Ability to use handheld scanners or basic ERP/WMS systems.
• Be able to lift up to 45 pounds.
• Ability to follow work instructions and safety guidelines.

Minimum Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of six months of warehouse logistics or Material handling experience preferred.
