As a Senior Product Associate in Personalization and Customer Insights you contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise in product development and optimization to make a significant impact supported by user research and customer feedback to fuel the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and ongoing success.
Job responsibilities
- Partners with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery
- Leads product backlog reviews and sprint planning sessions to prioritize features and ensure alignment with business goals
- Manages stakeholder engagement collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements user stories and workflows that drive customer value
- Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience
- Supports the collection of user research journey mapping and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customers
- Analyzes tracks and evaluates product metrics including work to time cost and quality targets across the product development life cycle
- Writes the requirements epics and user stories to support product development
- Collaborates with development teams leveraging familiarity with AWS and cloud technologies to support technical discussions and solution delivery
- Utilizes JIRA and other agile tools to manage product development activities and ensure timely delivery
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- 3 years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
- Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle including discovery requirements definition and delivery
- Experience with JIRA product backlog reviews and sprint planning
- Demonstrated stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy; basic proficiency in SQL or similar languages for evaluating product performance
- Ability to communicate product vision and translate complex concepts into clear accessible content
- BS in a field such as Product Management Information Management Business Computer Science Analytics Engineering Management or a comparable discipline
- Experience building platforms for developers or working closely with development teams to understand and address their needs
- Knowledge of current trends in digital products information management or user experience design
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders
- Passion for innovation continuous improvement and enhancing customer experiences
