About the Role
As a Logistics Officer youll be at the heart of keeping our Waste and Street Cleansing services running like a welloiled machine. Think of yourself as the behindthescenes coordinator who makes sure crews have the right work at the right time in the right place.
Youll be the person who brings order to the daily operational puzzlecreating and adjusting service schedules (workpacks) solving problems on the fly and helping shape smarter more efficient ways of working. Using data digital tools and great communication youll help us plan ahead respond quickly and keep our services transparent and reliable.
Every day youll support frontline teams so they can deliver excellent services to our residents. From refining routes to allocating resources youll make sure operations run smoothly services are delivered on time and performance standards are consistently short: you help turn good plans into great results.

About You
The ideal candidate will have:
You can confidently organise logistics for all sorts of servicesfrom waste and trade collections to street cleansing bulky waste white goods and bin deliveries. You love bringing order to moving parts and making operations run smoothly
Youve got a sharp eye for monitoring performance against SLAs and KPIs. When somethings slipping youre the first to spot itand even betterthe first to put things right
Whether its a resident with a query a customer with a complaint or a stakeholder needing an update you communicate clearly and kindlyby phone email webform or in person. You handle Have Your Say (HYS) cases with professionalism and empathy
You work smoothly with frontline crews line managers contractors residents developers and community groupshelping everyone stay connected informed and able to deliver great service. You bring people together to keep operations running without disruption
