Pay: $46$55/hr

Job Summary:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a Registered Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations. The technologist will assist radiologists ensure patient safety and comfort and maintain ultrasound equipment while adhering to departmental and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and verify patient identity following departmental protocols

• Obtain and review patient medical history to ensure exam appropriateness

• Operate adjust and maintain ultrasound equipment; report malfunctions as needed

• Explain procedures and instructions to patients and healthcare staff

• Develop and modify procedure plans using age- and gender-appropriate considerations

• Perform ultrasound examinations under physician supervision

• Adjust scanning techniques to optimize image quality and spectral waveforms

• Analyze sonographic findings to ensure comprehensive diagnostic exams

• Perform required measurements and calculations per laboratory and ACR guidelines

• Minimize patient exposure to acoustic energy while maintaining exam quality

• Notify providers when immediate medical attention is required

• Evaluate patient condition prior to discharge from the ultrasound department

• Record and archive diagnostic images and data

• Provide oral summaries of preliminary findings to radiologists

• Maintain adequate supplies and a clean safe work environment

• Assist in orienting and mentoring new ultrasound personnel

• Support administrative duties such as answering phones scheduling exams and coordinating transport

• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist

• ARDMS Registration required

• Preferred experience in breast ultrasound

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook

• Strong computer administrative and problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Exceptional attention to detail accuracy and professionalism

Education:

• High School diploma required

• Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
