Job Description: Pizza Chef
Location: Ngousso Yaounde
Position Summary
We are looking for a Cashier/Server for one of our clients. As a Pizza Chef you will be responsible for the entire pizza preparation process from dough making to baking. You will ensure each pizza meets our high standards of taste texture and presentation contributing to an unforgettable guest experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesP
- Prepare pizza dough from scratch daily and manage fermentation/proofing processes.
- Stretch shape and top pizzas according to recipe specifications.
- Operate and monitor pizza ovens to achieve perfect baking results.
- Maintain inventory of pizza ingredients and prep stations.
- Ensure consistency in size topping distribution and final bake quality.
- Keep the pizza station clean organized and compliant with all food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to manage order times and ticket flow.
- Contribute ideas for seasonal or new pizza offerings.
Requirements
- Proven 1-2 years of experience as a Pizza Chef Pizzaiolo or in a dedicated pizza kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of dough chemistry baking techniques and ingredient pairing.
- Ability to work efficiently during peak hours while maintaining quality.
- Attention to detail and passion for food presentation.
- Understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and handle hot equipment.
- Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and holidays.
