The Medical Receptionist is responsible for providing front-desk patient services while supporting administrative and basic accounting functions. This position serves as a key point of contact for patients nursing staff and contracted agencies ensuring smooth daily operations accurate documentation and timely processing of invoices and nursing records. The role requires strong organizational skills attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment while maintaining a high standard of customer service and compliance. This is an on-site in-person role at the infusion center in Kirkland Washington.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet check in and assist patients providing excellent customer service and directing them through the facility as needed.
- Answer and route phone calls manage messages and handle patient communications through Citus Health.
Schedule patient appointments and appointment reminders. - Perform administrative duties such as data entry scanning filing report generation and maintaining organized records.
- Support infusion center operations by maintaining room cleanliness restocking supplies snacks and water
Check and document daily medication refrigerator temperatures. - Perform COVID screenings in accordance with established protocols.
- Process patient copayments when applicable.
- Review nursing notes and invoices from contracted and home health agencies for accuracy and compliance with executed agreements.
- Create delivery tickets in CPR and follow up on pending invoices.
- Communicate with the manager regarding documentation review and discrepancies.
- Respond to agency payment inquiries and manage invoice filing and tracking.
- Maintain agency tracking spreadsheets and assist with direct deposit enrollment.
- Coordinate complementary lunches for infusion guests as needed.
- Provide non-clinical support to nursing staff as needed and perform other duties as requested.
- Additional duties and responsibilities in different areas of the department on an as-need basis or determined by management.
- Foster a culture of accountability integrity collaboration and service excellence.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- An active BLS certification
- At least one year of medical clinic support experience
- Excellent customer service skills
Working knowledge of Google Suite (Word Excel and Gmail) - Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Maintain professionalism courtesy and confidentiality at all times
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of HIPAA Compliance
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time management and organization skills
- Data entry with high accuracy and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a medical office or hospital settings is advantageous but not required.
- Working knowledge of CPR
