Sr Production Planner

As a Sr Production Planner here at Honeywell you will be leading globally across the supply chain network to deploy the Honeywell Global Design Model (GDM) and facilitate the full adoption across your network.

In this role you will ensure the network Capacity Plans and Constrained Master Production Schedules optimize the labor and machine resources whilst achieving the business goals for cost control productivity and working capital. You will lead the monthly Production Planning process cycle for your network of sites and ensure finished goods production plans align with the site and network Supply Plans in order to achieve maximum customer satisfaction and ensure working capital remains within the business goals.

• Lead the monthly Production Planning process cycle for your assigned product cells at the Torrance site
• Ensure that the network Capacity Plans and Constrained Master Production Schedules optimize labor and machine resources
• Collaborate with functional teams to resolve demand capacity constraints and material availability issues and support Planners in maintaining accurate planning parameters and material master data.
• Participate in monthly SIOP meetings to approve network production plans present associated risks and discuss mitigation plans with functional and business leadership.
• Achieve maximum customer satisfaction and ensure working capital remains within business goals

YOU MUST HAVE

• 7 years of Supply Planning Operations Planning/Scheduling Materials Management of other Operations Planning related functional area.
• 3 years of experience in Supply Chain within a manufacturing environment defense and aerospace preferred
• 5 years planning experience in SAP ERP system
• Bachelors Degree
• Excellent English communication skills written and spoken.
