We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Demand Planner. General Summary
The primary objective of this role is to develop and maintain an accurate18-month demand forecast for suppliers and contract manufacturers supporting supply planning inventory optimization and alignment with customer demand and revenue objectives. This position contributes to theS&OP and Integrated Business Planning (IBP)processes by delivering high-quality demand insights improving forecast accuracy and enabling informed decision-making across Sales Operations and Finance with a strong focus on analytics and continuous improvement.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain18-month rolling demand forecastsfor suppliers and Contract Manufacturers (CMs) usingSAP IBP ensuring a reliable demand signal for supply and inventory planning.
- Consolidate validate and analyze demand inputs during theDemand Reviewas part of the S&OP cycle ensuring alignment across functions.
- Continuously improveforecasting methodologies assumptions and accuracy incorporating statistical analysis and business insights.
- Maintain accurate and relevant planning data in IBP includingphase-in/phase-out details lifecycle flags and product transitions.
- Partner closely withPLMand NPI to ensure product roadmap and lifecycle changes are accurately reflected in the demand plan.
- Collaborate cross-functionally withSales Manufacturing Finance and regional teamsto align demand assumptions and highlight gaps or risks.
- Monitorinventory health identifying risks related to excess obsolescence or shortages and support mitigation actions.
- ReviewE&O materialsand support scrap ticket initiation in accordance with established processes.
- AnalyzeSafety Stockand supportIBP Inventory Optimization (IO)planning to balance service levels and inventory investment.
- Deliveranalytical insights scenario analysis and risk assessmentsto support planning and business decisions.
- Ensure adherence to thedemand planning calendarand promote continuous improvement in data quality and planning processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Business Logistics or a related field.
- 5 years of experiencein Demand Planning Forecasting or Sales Planning within a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
- Strongquantitative and analytical skills with hands-on experience using statistical forecasting tools.
- Proven experience working withinIBP and S&OP frameworks.
- Ability to integratecommercial and sales insightswith analytical rigor.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in across-functional global environment.
- Comfortable managing ambiguity and contributing toprocess improvement initiatives.
- Experience withERP and planning tools(SAP SAP IBP Power BI or similar) preferred.
- IBF or ASCM certification(CPF CPIM CSCP) is a plus.
- AdvancedExcel and PowerPointskills.
- Fluent in English.
