Scrum Master

Provation is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to lead and optimize Agile delivery within our anesthesia software development this role you will act as a servant leader and Agile coach enabling crossfunctional teams to deliver secure highquality clinical and operational software solutions that enhance patient safety workflow efficiency and overall care outcomes. The ideal candidate brings experience working in healthcare or other regulated environments a deep understanding of Agile principles and a proven ability to cultivate strong collaboration among software engineers quality assurance professionals clinical subject matter experts and product stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Agile Facilitation & Delivery Leadership

• Lead andfacilitateall Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning Daily Stand-ups Sprint Reviews Retrospectives and Backlog Refinement sessions ensuring that Agile best practices are followed.

• Work closely with Product Owners to prioritize and manage backlogs aligned with clinical workflows compliance requirements and customer commitments.

• Promote continuous delivery of high-quality compliant software releases within the healthcare domain.

Team Coaching & Servant Leadership

• Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile principles self-organization and accountability.

• Serve as aservant leader helping teams remove impediments manage dependencies andmaintainfocus on delivery.

• Encourage an environment of transparency trust and psychological safety across teams.

Collaboration Across Clinical and Technical Teams

• Partner withProduct Management QA Regulatory and Clinical Affairsteams to ensure deliverables meet safety usability and compliance standards (e.g. FDA HIPAA).

• Collaborate withImplementation and Customer Successteams to align development priorities with end-user needs and customer deployments.

• Facilitate cross-functional alignment for features thatimpactclinical data workflows interoperability or integrations with external systems (e.g. EMR HL7 FHIR interfaces).

Continuous Improvement & Metrics

• Drive process improvement through data-driven retrospectives actionable feedback and measurable performance improvements.

• Track and communicate key Agile metrics (velocity burndown throughput defect trends) to stakeholders.

• Identifyopportunities forprocessautomation and efficiency within the SDLC.

Compliance and Quality Mindset

• Ensure Agile delivery practices align with quality management systems (QMS) and regulatory documentation standards.

• Partner with QA and Regulatory teams to plan and execute validation and verification cycles within sprints.

• Reinforce best practices for traceability documentation and risk management in software releases.

Required Qualifications:

Education & Experience Guidelines

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Systems or other relevant field

• 2-5 years of experience in Agile software delivery including experience as a dedicated Scrum Master.

• Experience inhealthcare software medical devices or other regulated industriesstronglypreferred.

• Proventrack recordof enabling high-performing Agile teams delivering enterprise or clinical software products.

• Strong understanding of SDLC QA automation and DevOps practices.

• Familiarity with clinical software systems healthcare interoperability standards (HL7 FHIR) and data privacy requirements (HIPAA).

• Hands-on experience with Agile tools such as Jira Azure DevOps or Confluence.

• Excellent facilitation communication and stakeholder management skills especially with technical and non-technical (clinical) audiences.

• Strong servant leadership collaboration and conflict-resolution abilities.

• Highly organized and adaptable to fast-paced evolving environments.

• Occasional travel may be required

Other Preferred Knowledge Skills Abilities or Certifications:

• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) Professional Scrum Master (PSM I/II) or equivalent certificationrequired.

• Additionalcertifications such asSAFeAgilist PMI-ACP or Lean Six Sigma are a plus.
