ARPA-E is seeking a highly motivated technology commercialization expert with a unique mix of technical business and entrepreneurial experience to help accelerate high-impact energy technology development programs and to scale teams and technologies for commercial markets (SCALEUP). The SCALEUP Technology-to-Market (T2M) Advisor is expected to have skills inbusiness strategy and planning new business development technology marketing competitive positioning technology project management supply chain analysis and financial analysis. The SCALEUP T2M Advisor should also possess excellentcoaching and team development skillsto guide early-stage technologies through the evolution and execution of commercialization strategies.
The most competitive candidates will have strongenergy industry experience and will have managed complex multi-year technology commercialization projects with budgets greater than $10M. T2M Advisors report to the ARPA-E Deputy Director for Commercial Development and serve full time for a minimum of 3 years; with potential for extension upon mutual agreement.
