The OpportunityWere seeking an experienced Project Manager with proven expertise in water infrastructure construction to lead the delivery of critical water projects across Melbourne. This is a hands-on site-based role where your deep understanding of water industry requirements regulations and construction methodologies will be essential to project success.
Reporting to the Operations Manager youll drive project success across program planning health and safety quality commercial performance and sustainability objectives.
Essential CriteriaLocation: Must be based in the Melbourne area - this is a site-based role
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Environmental Engineering Project Management or related field
Experience:
- Proven track record managing construction projects within the water sector
- Demonstrated project delivery success across planning safety quality commercial and sustainability
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
Skills:
- Strong project management principles and methodologies
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and project management software
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Establish and maintain a positive safety culture across all projects
- Develop project budgets forecasts and accruals
- Manage contracts variations and Extensions of Time
- Comprehensive project planning including procurement scheduling and resourcing
- Ensure quality systems compliance and documentation standards
- Foster collaborative stakeholder relationships
- Identify sustainable and social procurement opportunities
- Lead impactful water infrastructure projects
