Reporting to the Branch Manager the Junior Quality Control Coordinator will be based on-site on a project in the Greater Toronto area.

This is a fixed-term position until 2028 with the possibility of becoming permanent.

What You Will Be Working On

  • Preparation of quality and completion reports monitoring and maintaining documentation for the quality management team.

  • Ensure that all quality and completion records associated with the management system are kept organized and filed in the construction quality record system.

  • Ensure progression compilation on completed works is recorded in reporting system

  • Ensure that all non-comforting product activity or procedure is recorded in the non-conformance reporting system

  • Track status of all inspections and tests to ensure that all non-comforting product activity or procedure is recorded in the non-conformance reporting system

  • Follow up with project team on overdue observations and actions

  • Perform and assist with a variety of administrative duties as required

What We Are Looking For

  • Degree/Diploma in a construction related discipline (Mechanical or electrical preferred) or

  • A CofQ in electrical or the mechanical Trades (plumbing pipe fitting HVAC)

  • A minimum of 5 years construction related experience with 1-2 years in a QA/QC Role.

  • Experience with mechanical and electrical projects is preferred.

  • General construction knowledge including blueprint reading.

  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Suite)

  • Experience with Revisto is considered and asset.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Strong Organizational skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
