PRN Psychometrist

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Psychometrist administers and scores neuropsychological tests with patients at Shepherd Center
• Responsible for administering & scoring neuropsychological and/or psychological tests to in patients with acute brain injuries and spinal cord injuries as well as outpatients under the supervision of a neuropsychologist.
• Responsible for demographic & neuropsychological data entry into REDCap database for clinical research purposes.
• Provides behavioral observations of patients & maintains interface with neuropsychologists- Responsible for maintenance of accurate records confidentiality of test results and the security of testing materials.
• Assists with training of other psychometrists fellows and students as requested by supervisor- Participates in department committees and/or research projects as requested by supervisor.

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION

• Masters degree in Psychology Rehabilitation Counseling Counseling Psychology or related field preferred.
• Must have education and training in administration and scoring of neuropsychological and psychological tests.

REQUIRED LICENSURE

• N/A

REQUIRED MINIMUM CERTIFICATION

• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.

REQUIRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

• Experience in testing individuals with neurological disorders and other medical conditions are preferred.

REQUIRED MINIMUM SKILLS

• Must be able to administer a full range of neuropsychological and psychological tests including fixed battery procedures intellectual and academic assessment instruments and personally assessment inventories and measures.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Certified Specialist in Psychometry (CSP)
