Summary
- The Children & Family Hub Deputy Lead plays a crucial role in providing managerial support in the absence of the Children & Family Hub Manager and overseeing the extended services teams. This position is responsible for developing coordinating and commissioning high-quality integrated services for children aged 019 (or 25 with SEND) and their families. The Deputy Lead collaborates with local partners stakeholders and parents to plan deliver and evaluate services that align with Hackneys strategic direction and the national Family Hub framework.
Responsibilities
- Support the Children & Family Hub Manager in consulting and planning core services with stakeholders service providers and childrens centres.
- Ensure services reach the number of families identified in the Hub Delivery Plan.
- Promote and model respectful trauma-informed systemic anti-racist and strengths-based approaches across all service areas.
- Plan support and monitor quality integrated services tailored to Hackneys diverse communities including hard-to-reach groups.
Essential Experience Required
Minimum 3 years experience in childrens services such as social care early years primary education public health or community development.
Experience providing line management including appraisals and supervision.
Experience in project management and service development.
