Lead and sign off on statutory audits in accordance with IFRS IFRS for SMEs ISAs and the Companies Act
Ensure full compliance with IRBA standards quality control (ISQM 1 & 2) and ethical requirements
Oversee audit planning execution review and finalisation for complex and high-risk engagements
Act as Engagement Partner on key clients
Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on audit governance risk and regulatory matters
Manage client portfolios including fee negotiations and engagement economics
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within audit and assurance services
Contribute to firm-wide growth strategies and cross-selling of advisory/tax services
Represent the firm at industry events client meetings and professional forums
Ensure effective risk management across the audit portfolio
Manage independence conflict checks and engagement acceptance processes
Address audit quality findings internal reviews and regulatory inspections
Lead mentor and develop audit directors managers and professional staff
Drive a high-performance culture including succession planning
CA (SA)
Registered Auditor with the IRBA
Minimum 5 years in a management role within a auditing firm
Experience managing large and complex audit portfolios
Strong exposure to listed and/or large private entities (sector dependent)
