Responsibilities:
Perform independent maintenance repair and testing of vehicles especially buses with alternative drive systems and advanced technologies.
Troubleshoot and resolve highly complex and demanding technical issues in workshop and testing activities.
Identify required materials tools and equipment; assist with administrative tasks such as inventory management
Qualifications:
Completed technical apprenticeship in one of the following:
Automotive technician
Body shop technician
System electronics technician
Validation/certificate of equivalence required if training completed outside Austria
Master craftsman examination (if operational necessity exists).
Minimum 5 years of professional experience.
Fluent in written and spoken German (B2 level CEFR).
Requirements
Driver training in accordance with EU regulations (if holding a C/D driving license).
Special knowledge in bus technology alternative drive systems and emerging technologies in the bus sector.
FS C or D license required for test and towing drives.
