Job Summary
As an Enterprise Account Accelerator you will work closely with account teams customers and partners to uncover growth opportunities address market demands and challenge existing frameworks. Acting as a trusted advisor youll anchor yourself in Red Hats value proposition aligning efforts to customer priorities. By leading campaigns sales plays and client activities youll collaborate with internal teamssuch as the FlightPath Business Value Tech Sales the BU and Dealmakersto shape impactful strategies and ensure Red Hats approach resonates with clients. Through workshops account strategy sessions and keynotes/Lightning talks youll inspire customer stakeholders crafting a shared vision that drives their strategic goals.
This role is pivotal in accelerating outcomes that enhance pipeline health and shorten deal cycles. Utilizing expert teams like FlightPath for strategic alignment and BVP for value selling youll coordinate efforts across Red Hats matrixed teamsincluding sales services product management and technical expertsto maximize our collective impact and deliver measurable value. Your work will shape account strategies across short mid and long-term timelines ensuring engagements are customer-focused and strengthen stakeholder connections and executive relationships.
What you will do
Growth account selection: Identify and qualify priority accounts collaborating with ELT Country managers and Enterprise management adjust selection periodically define success criteria
Trusted Advisor: Develop strong relationships with key account teams to expand and improve existing portfolio
Account strategy & Sales execution: Develop coherent account plans with account teams and sales managers. Enforce customer centric mindset connect with reference customers drive best practices and reference selling
Create customer value proposition: Preparing and presenting our value proposition to customers jointly with the account team to make customers commit to growth resulting in closing larger deals
Coach mentor and inspire account teams
Holistic view of the customer across the whole customer lifecycle
Create short/mid/long term account strategies
Prioritize initiatives (based on deal impact timing resources and learning)
Extend stakeholder reach / executive access
Solutions-sales mentality
Accelerated revenue growth above average / 10x facilitate linearity in revenue growth
Cross-sectional team work: Involve key Red Hat teams to bring to the customer the best Red Hat can offer including
FlightPath - Drive Platform & solution strategies using FlightPath methodology to drive accelerated growth
BVP - integrate value selling in large deals using reference customer and best practices
Services - involve and include key services teams early in the sales process to build trust and understanding thus providing successful handover for delivery and future pipeline
Dealmakers - collaborate on large deals to accelerate revenue with a mid/long term view (customer centric)
Vertical CoEs (e.g. FSI Telco Edge) - Collaborate with Red Hat Vertical experts on growing our footprint in customers showing thought leadership on key customer topics (i.e Regulatory / Compliance)
Tech Sales - include Technical SMEs for PoCs and support sales-plays
CTO office / BU - build bi-directional interface to the BU to provide feedback from the field to the BU related to customer and sales demands competitive gaps or innovation opportunities
External partner integration; build a go to market strategy with key regional partners (e.g. IBM) Systems Integrators and Consulting practices. Further joint presentations towards customers to drive Partner Always mindset
Enablement & Educate: Work with the sales enablement team to identify gaps in our sales enablement curriculum and drive requirements for future courses which orient account teams and sales managers towards customer centricity and key customer demands thus scaling improved sales approach and tactical activities year after year.
What you will bring
Business development / specialist sales experience (enterprise sales background preferred)
Strong knowledge of IT platform (Platform as a Service) and Enterprise Automation (Automation as a Service)
Experience acting as a multiplier and sharing best practice
Ability to work with globally distributed teams across Red Hat Sales Solutions sales BVP Dealmakers and tech sales as well as with other regional leaders
Solid presentation and public speaking skills
Ability to adjust to different audiences from developer/engineer to CIO to line of business to CTO/COO/CEO
Effective written and verbal English communication skills
