Occupational Therapist - Expression of Interest

As an occupational therapist at Cerebral Palsy Alliance you will provide therapy to clients cerebral palsy and similar disabilities from early intervention with infants through to adult clients. You may be providing services in one-on-one or group sessions built on a foundation of evidence based research and tailored to your clients goals. Working with a team alongside physiotherapists speech pathologists and exercise physiologists to provide complete and coordinated care; your day to day work with clients will be aimed at maximising their independance and may include:
- Developing their fine motor skills
- Giving tips for everyday activities like dressing and eating
- Heling clients access the aids and equipment for home school and work that will work best for them
- Supporting clients to participate in recreation and leisure activities
- Providing advice on home changes like ramps and rails
- Professional Development: We are aregistered training organisationproviding you witha detailed learning journeyand1:1guidance froma clinical educatorthroughout your career.
- Teamwork: You will join aclose-knit and experienced multidisciplinary team working collaboratively to shape the care provided to clients
- A rewarding caseload:working with diverse clients and complex disability can be challenging but also incredibly rewarding as you willhave a direct positive impactinyourclientslives and their independence.
- Client Centered: Cerebral Palsy Research Institute and an experienced team support you to provideevidence-basedintervention focused on achieving the clients goals

- Flexibility: You will work in both the clinic and community with options for part time full time compressed hours or negotiated start/finish times that work for you.
Salary:Clinical salaries are graded with an approximate range of $80-140kincl super. Thisamountincludestax freepackaging; For more information on this please discuss with our recruitment team.
