Role Overview
The QA Automation Engineer will design implement and maintain automated testing frameworks to reduce manual testing effort and improve overall product quality. This role works closely with developers and DevOps teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
Automation Framework Development:
Architect build and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks for web mobile and API layers.
Test Script Creation:
Write debug and maintain automated test scripts to replace repetitive manual test cases.
CI/CD Integration:
Integrate automated tests into continuous integration and deployment pipelines to ensure quality at every build.
Defect Management:
Identify document and track defects with clear reproduction steps and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
Test Strategy & Execution:
Develop and execute test plans covering smoke functional regression and end-to-end testing.
Requirements
Technical Requirements
Advanced hands-on experience with automation tools such as Cypress Playwright or Selenium.
Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript Python or Java.
Proven expertise in API automation testing using tools like Postman SuperTest or RestAssured.
Proficiency in Git-based version control systems (GitHub GitLab or Bitbucket).
Ability to write SQL queries to validate backend data and perform state-based testing.
Required Skills:
Technical Requirements Advanced hands-on experience with automation tools such as Cypress Playwright or Selenium. Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript Python or Java. Proven expertise in API automation testing using tools like Postman SuperTest or RestAssured. Proficiency in Git-based version control systems (GitHub GitLab or Bitbucket).
