Job Description

We are looking for a Network Engineer to maintenance and upgrade of client applications. This position will be full-time and remote.

What Youll Do:

Ability to install configure and troubleshoot the following:
Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches routers and associated technologies
Firewall technologies
Routers used for internal routing ISP connectivity.
Enterprise wireless solutions
Develop detailed functional specifications design documents and test plans.
Monitor network performance and integrity.
Consult regarding network performance capacity and scalability.
Troubleshoot and resolve support issues with cloud and local infrastructure.
Consult with technical and business partners and serve as a consulting resource to support client-hosted installations and implementations.
Work cross-functionally with internal and external customers to define deliverables.
Support escalation incidents and support on-call duty requirements.
Interface with internal clients such as sales service and field staff as well as external clients to define deliverables.

What Youll Need:

Solid background in network administration and architecture.
Strong knowledge and expertise on firewall vendors: Cisco Meraki Fortinet Palo Alto etc.
Cisco Enterprise Network
Networking in virtual platforms
Monitoring platforms
EIGRP/OSPF
GRE tunnels
Multi-site/stretched datacenter environments
Router configuration management
TACACS and other authorization methods
Device and networking hardening 802.1x
Syslog
BGP

The following certifications are desirable.

CCNP
CMNA
PCNSA

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer utilizing a mouse keyboard and monitor
