Job Summary

Teacher Specialist needed for IBDP/IBCP/AP Coordinator position

Recruitment of students and families in programs and courses for sustained growth ofThe International Baccalaureate and Advanced Placement Programs
Communication and support toprogramteachers.
Organization advising and communication with students and families regarding program expectations and needs.
Communication and liaisewith organizations outside the school.
Organizing and conductingexaminations under program requirements including providing the necessary supports to students and teachers.
Organizing other program needs for growth and sustainability including professional development curriculum assessment and student growth needs.
Developing monitoring and administering the budget for the Diploma Programme.

ENTRY LEVEL REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited institution
Valid professional teaching license
Single-subject teaching credential or certification if teaching a specialized subject
Relevant teaching experience
Knowledge of relevant technology

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLSREQUIREMENTS:

Comprehensive knowledge ofSecondary High Schoolprocesses
General knowledge of effectiveprogram growthpractices
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Effective organizational and project-management skills
Effective oral and written communication skills
Strong computer and internet proficiency including a high-degree of aptitude with Microsoft Office G Suite for Education and common educational technology systems.

Proven skills in leadership relationship management project management group facilitation problem solving team building coordinating communication and student advocacy.
