What will you be doing

A Power BI and Java Developer role requires a blend of front-end visualization and back-end development skills focusing on building and maintaining business intelligence solutions. Key responsibilities includedesigning interactive Power BI dashboards developing efficient Java applications writing complex SQL queries and ensuring data accuracy and performance. The developer will gather business requirements create data models test and debug both applications and reports and collaborate with stakeholders to provide actionable insights.

Job Responsibilities

• Power BI development:
• Design and develop interactive dashboards reports and visualizations.
• Create and optimize complex DAX queries and data models.
• Ensure data accuracy consistency and security in reports.
• Java development:
• Design and develop efficient scalable and maintainable Java applications.
• Write clean well-documented code and conduct debugging and testing.
• Implement RESTful APIs and other web services.
• Data and database management:
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation.
• Work with databases and design data models for optimal performance.
• Perform data analysis and data integration tasks.
• Collaboration and analysis:
• Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other developers data engineers and business teams.
• Provide technical guidance and support to users.
• System maintenance and optimization:
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in both Power BI reports and Java applications.
• Optimize solutions for performance and usability.
• Maintain documentation and version control.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in software development or support.
• Proficiency in Power BI tool and create reports in Power BI
• Good Knowledge of Java.
• Strong understanding UNIX /LINUX commands to search and retrieve logs
• Experience with SQLs queries
• Good on data analysis & analytics
• Experience with REST API using tools like Postman or REST-assured (a plus).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
