Essential Role Requirements:
- Adhering to safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safe operation of the articulated dumper truck and minimize the risk of accidents or injuries to oneself and others
- Material Handling: Transporting materials efficiently and safely often over rough or uneven terrain while maintaining load stability and preventing spills or damage to the truck materials or surrounding structures
- Communicating effectively with other workers supervisors and site personnel
- Able to competently carry out daily pre-start plant safety inspections and maintenance checks and communicate service requirements in good time to the site management team
- Able to perform routine maintenance tasks such as refuelling greasing moving parts and cleaning the equipment
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and strong communication skills
- Able to manage time effectively
Desirable:
- Additional CPCS/NPORS* tickets and experienced in operating any of the following; Telehandlers Dumpers Rollers
- 5 Years experience
General Expectations:
- Reliable & punctual
- Able to work well with other trades and operatives on site and support the programme delivery on time
- Right to work in the UK
