Job Duties

Assist in design development configuration testing and maintenance of Epic interfaces (e.g. Epic Bridges HL7 FHIR APIs) to external/ancillary systems.

Monitor interface performance troubleshoot data flows ensure reliability data integrity and compliance with standards/regulations (HIPAA Meaningful Use).

Work with data conversion teams on migrations mapping of data ensuring legacy systems data is integrated or replaced appropriately.

Document interface and conversion workflows mappings test scripts and collaborate with
Epic functional teams clinical teams and IT/integration teams.

Participate in Epic upgrades that impact integration test interface changes validate changes with test plans.

Other Duties
Performs other duties as assigned to support the overall objectives of the department and organization.

Position Qualifications
Experience in hospital/healthcare IT interface/integration work data flows preferably Epic environment required.
Good technical aptitude (knowledge of HL7 FHIR APIs SQL or scripting helpful) and strong stakeholder communication required.
Certification or experience in Epic modules regarding integration or data exchange preferred.
Prior work in a hospitals IS or informatics team preferred.

Education
Bachelors degree in Information Systems Health Informatics Computer Science or related field (or equivalent) required.

Salary commensurate with experience within posted range
