Job Summary
Who we are:
Creve Coeur Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinarian to join our AAHA-accredited small animal and exotics practice in West St. Louis County. Established in 1993 were proud to provide gold-standard medical care paired with personalized client service in a collaborative supportive environment. Our doctors are given the time autonomy and resources to follow cases through all stages of care including surgery. Were open to experienced veterinarians newer graduates and part-time candidates.
How We Practice
- Extended appointment times that support thorough medicine and strong client communication
- Continuity of care through consistent DVM/technician pairing
- Ability to manage cases from initial exam through surgery and ongoing treatment
- House-call euthanasia offered at the doctors discretion
- Active partnerships with the House Rabbit Society Needy Paws and Frisky Whiskers
The Hospital
We are a stand-alone hospital with the capacity to support six doctors. Our facility includes:
- Six exam rooms
- Two dental stations and two surgical tables
- ICU capabilities
- Kennel/boarding facility with a turf backyard
- Fully stocked pharmacy and a dedicated DVM office with library access
The hospital is well equipped with digital and dental radiography ultrasound Tonovet tonometer multiparameter monitoring (including ETCO₂) a surgical laser and an electrocautery unit. We operate paperlite/paperless and prioritize keeping equipment current with openness to adding new tools as needs evolve.
Team & Mentorship
Each doctor works with dedicated technician support and all team members are Fear Free Certified. Our doctor team collaborates closely and meets regularly to share knowledge and support one another.
We may be open to a new graduate and offer tailored structured mentorship including:
- Blocked appointment time for learning and case development
- Side-by-side case exposure with experienced doctors
- Regular one-on-one check-ins with the Chief of Staff that taper as confidence grows
- Flexible surgical shadowing and hands-on training
