We are seeking a responsible and safety-focused Mini-van Driver to join our student transportation this role you will operate a company-provided Mini-Van to transport students safely and reliably to and from school programs and related activities. This position requires a valid standard drivers license and a commitment to ensuring student safety professionalism and punctuality. This position is working a split shift Monday - Friday at $20.00/hour.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate an mini-van in compliance with federal transportation regulations
Transport students to and from school field trips and other approved destinations
Ensure the safety and well-being of all student passengers during boarding transit and exiting
Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections daily
Maintain a clean orderly and safe vehicle environment
Follow assigned routes and schedules with reliability and punctuality
Communicate effectively with dispatch school staff parents (as needed) and supervisors
Complete required documentation such as mileage logs and incident reports
Remain alert attentive and compassionate while supervising students on board
Requirements:
Valid standard drivers license.
Must meet all DMV and DOT requirements
Clean driving record and strong attendance history
Ability to pass background check drug screening and DOT physical
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism in all interactions
