About the Role:
World Labs is at the forefront of advancing AI technology to bridge the gap between cutting-edge research and impactful real-world applications. We are seeking a Product Manager (PM) to lead the development of innovative products that empower users through intuitive design and seamless integration of advanced AI capabilities. This is a high-impact role that requires collaboration across engineering research and design teams to shape the future of AI-driven products.
What Youll Do:
- Define Product Vision and Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap that aligns with World Labs mission of advancing AI for the greater good.
- Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering research and design teams to bring products from concept to launch.
- Translate Insights into Action: Gather and analyze user feedback and data to refine product features and guide decision-making.
- Launch Innovative Solutions: Spearhead the end-to-end development of AI-powered products ensuring they meet user needs and set new industry standards.
- Advocate for Users: Act as the voice of the customer to ensure that the products deliver value are intuitive to use and meet real-world challenges effectively.
What Were Looking For:
Experience:
- 5 years of product management or equivalent experience in building and launching successful products.
- Demonstrated success working in a technical environment ideally in AI ML or related technologies.
- Demonstrated experience with 0-1 product launches.
- Hands-on domain experience at companies building creative tools or genAI tools or at VFX or game studios.
- Experience as a startup founder or member of a founding team is a strong plus.
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Applied Sciences or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience). Advanced degrees are a plus.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a user-centric mindset.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver on ambitious timelines.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including engineering and research.
- Ability to own lightweight coding tasks.
