DescriptionDevsinc is on the lookout for a talented Senior 3D Generalist to join our innovative this role youll have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects creating high-quality 3D models animations and textures that enhance our games and interactive experiences. As a Senior Generalist you will work across multiple disciplines providing your expertise to ensure a cohesive and visually stunning final product. Responsibilities:
- A diverse reel showing mastery across multiple disciplines: modeling texturing lighting and basic animation.
- Full-Pipeline Expertise: Ability to move a shot through the entire workflow without needing constant hand-holding from other departments.
- Advanced DCC Skills: Expert-level proficiency in Autodesk Maya 3ds Max or Blender plus advanced texturing in Substance Painter/Designer.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: The ability to look at a technical glitch (like a broken shader or a mesh artifact) and fix it independently.
- Experience with procedural modeling or basic FX (smoke fire particles).
- Sculpting: High-level organic sculpting skills using ZBrush.
- Compositing: Ability to perform final polish and color grading in Nuke or After Effects.
- Scripting: Knowledge of Python or C# to create custom tools or automation scripts.
Requirements - Bachelors degree in Arts Animation Game Design or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in 3D art production ideally in the gaming or film industry.
- Proficient in major 3D software such as Maya Blender ZBrush and the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of animation principles and experience in rigging and character animation.
- Excellent knowledge of texturing workflows including UV mapping and PBR workflows.
- Solid understanding of rendering techniques and optimization for real-time engines like Unity or Unreal Engine.
- A versatile portfolio showcasing a range of skills in modeling texturing and animation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with various teams and stakeholders.
- A passion for gaming and a strong understanding of game design principles.
