Responsibilities:
The Dental Hygienist is responsible for delivering preventive oral healthcare patient education and therapeutic dental procedures under the supervision of a licensed dentist. The role supports optimal patient oral health through cleanings assessments and instruction in effective hygiene practices.
Qualifications:
An Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene current state dental hygiene license and current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire) are required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge of dental instruments infection control protocols and sterilization methods.
Proficiency with dental software and digital radiography systems.
High attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
Strong interpersonal skills patience and adaptability with diverse adult patients and caregivers.
Excellent clinical judgment and problem-solving in complex care scenarios.
Ability to document detailed clinical and behavioral observations accurately.
Commitment to patient-centered respectful care.
