We design and supply solutions to a diverse customer base including schools needing extra classrooms commercial businesses needing additional office space and construction sites needing a complex of offices and welfare facilities.
The Role
You will join a team of four within the credit control function supporting the day-to-day administration of customer accounts and helping ensure payments are received on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the management and collection of outstanding customer balances
- Set up and maintain customer accounts within the assigned section of the ledger
- Carry out routine credit control tasks including chasing payments by phone and email
- Allocate customer payments accurately
- Raise and send invoices and statements
- Handle basic invoice and account queries escalating where necessary
- Maintain accurate customer records
- Assist with monthly and year-end accounts including bank reconciliations trial balance preparation and audit support
- Support the wider finance team with general administrative duties
About You
- Previous experience in an administrative or accounts/credit control role is desirable
- Comfortable communicating with customers and colleagues
- Well organised with good attention to detail
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- Confident using computer systems and Microsoft Office
- A positive and reliable approach to work
