Job Summary
NETZSCH Pumps USA is looking for a Planning Manager to work out of the Exton PA facility. The Planning Manager plays a crucial role in optimizing manufacturing operations by overseeing production planning scheduling inventory management and resource allocation to meet our customers requested lead times. This position collaborates closely with the Production Managers in each location to create efficient production plans while ensuring timely availability of materials and the Customer Experience Center to keep the customer informed.
The Planning Manager will perform the following duties among others:
- Lead and mentor a team including a Production Scheduler and Purchasing Specialist
- Collaborate with production and purchasing staff to develop and adjust production schedules and ensure efficient communication and coordination.
- Manage inventory and procurement both domestically and internationally
- Monitor performance metrics such as on-time delivery and throughput
- Drive process improvements using Kaizen.
- Work with other departmentsincluding sales logistics engineering and the Customer Experience Centerto align production plans with business goals and quickly resolve operational issues.
Qualifications :
Successful candidates will have previous experience with Production Planning Supply Chain Management or related field. In addition candidates should have;
- Proficiency in planning software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Leadership skills and a track record of improving production efficiency
- Degree in business administration engineering or related field is preferred
- Ability to work on-site in Exton PA
