Were looking for a steady compassionate leader to join our Residential Recovery Team as a Residential Overnight Managersomeone who brings calm to the quiet hours structure to complex systems and humanity to everything they do.

This role oversees the overnight operations at our Ember Campus residential program. Youll support staff ensure high-quality care and help create an environment where youth can rest recover and rebuildsometimes one night at a time.

What Youll Do...

With support from the Campus Director youll:

Lead and support overnight staff through hiring training scheduling and performance feedbackbecause people do their best work when they feel supported not micromanaged.
Ensure residential care standards and licensing requirements (IDPH HHS DIA CARF etc.) are met with consistency and care.
Oversee documentation and records maintaining confidentiality and compliance without losing the human side of the work.
Coordinate medical services support accurate medication management and collaborate closely with clinical teams.
Manage overnight facilities needs budgets and expenses to keep the campus running safely and smoothly.
Maintain a clean safe and welcoming environment for youth and staff.
Conduct safety drills (fire tornado) so everyone knows what to do when things get stressful or unpredictable.

Qualifications

MUST HAVES - to qualify you need:

Bachelors in a human services related field * and three (3) years experience which includes direct employee supervision and residential facility management.
- OR
Seven(7) years of experience which includes direct employee supervision and residential facility management.
- PLUS
A deep understanding of substance use andsubstance use disorders the needs of youth facing substance use and dependencythe intervention strategies available to address these needschild and youth developmentbasic individual and group counseling dynamics andtrauma-informed care.
Travel including transporting clients is required for this position. For YSS insurance purposes you must:
- be 21 years of age
- have a current valid state-issued drivers license and
- have aclean driving record.

SHOULD HAVES - we would also like you to have/be:

Patient and calm under pressure able to think critically and solve problems in challenging or unexpected situations.
Able tomediateconflicts de-escalatetense situations and promotehealthy communication.
Skilled in verbal and non-verbal communication with strong observation listening speaking and writing abilities.
Proficient in basic computer skills navigating multiple systems and operating in aMicrosoft Windows environment.
Leads by example acting as a role model for residents demonstrating honesty ethical behavior and guiding them through their recovery journey.
Is committed to displaying good judgement maintaining client confidentiality and establishing appropriate boundaries.
Demonstrates genuine empathycompassion and a strong commitment to the well-being and success of others.
