Job Summary
YOUR TASKS
Analyze workflows to identify improvement areas in the process. Then drive change initiatives utilizing cross-functional team collaboration and lean manufacturing principles to effect lasting process advancements.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Analyze workflows to identify improvement areas in the process
- Drive change initiatives utilizing cross-functional team collaboration and lean manufacturing principles to effect lasting process advancements
- Develop and upkeep aids such as process alerts work instructions and one-point lessons
- Identify process problems and own their resolutions to increase production output including root cause analysis and data reporting to department
- Analyze capital expenditures and project designs to find cost cutting and investment driving solutions including for new equipment to ensure proper release
- Identify areas for quality improvement in the process and collaborate to find solutions that drive down scrap in the area
- Must have continuous improvement experience
- Ensure implementation of measures and maintain controls
- Raise awareness and provide information about ESH responsibilities and duties
- Ensure immediate notification and response and initiate preventive measures in case of unsafe or polluting hazards
- Demonstrate exemplary personal behavior in ESH and motivate others
- Other duties as assigned

THE ENVIRONMENT
- Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as steel toes and ear plugs.
- The job is within a climate-controlled environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold) forklift and pedestrian traffic and noise
- The role involves various physical tasks including lifting and operating machinery with training provided
Qualifications :
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Related Technical field
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening.
