Job Summary

We are on the lookout for a highly motivated reliable and trustworthy individual who excels in customer service and demonstrates strong attention to detail to clean and maintain commercial buildings at a retail center. Candidates must have a valid drivers license reliable vehicle some hands-on maintenance experience preferred in light plumbing electrical work HVAC carpentry and painting we are willing to provide training for the right candidates. Full-Time Maintenance Apprentice

-Location: Waikiki - Honolulu HI 96815

-Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs (painting plumbing electrical mechanical and heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) carpentry and grounds maintenance)

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsible for maintaining three buildings parking garage and up to 9 floors.

Excellent customer service skills to interact with property managers vendors customers etc.

Able to lift push pull a minimum of 30lbs up to 50lbs. Walk stand for a period of time and bend throughout the shift.

Ensure mechanical equipment and systems are working in order and fixed as necessary.

Create and maintain work orders

Create and maintain purchase orders

Perform any additional maintenance related duties as required by property management.

-Skills/Qualifications:

High school diploma/GED preferred

Must pass background check

Must have a valid driver license and a reliable vehicle

Basic mathematics

Customer service oriented

General Maintenance experience

Previous experience with creating and maintaining work orders and purchase orders

Attention to detail

Mechanical Aptitude

Troubleshooting abilities

Strong organizational skills

Willingness to learn and grow

-Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:00AM to 3:30PM (5 days 40 hours per week Must have open availability subjective to emergencies: after hours weekends and holidays)

-Compensation per hour: $21.40
