Job Summary
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) / O.R. Technician
Location: Brooklyn NY
Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Day Shift 7:00 AM 2:30 PM 5 Days/Week
Pay:
Local: $40$50/hr ($1500$1875/week)
Travel: $50$60/hr incl. stipend ($1875$2250/week)
Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to support a fast-paced Operating Room. The CST works under RN supervision to maintain sterile technique ensure patient safety and assist surgeons throughout procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Perform surgical scrubbing gowning gloving and sterile field setup
Maintain strict aseptic technique and address contamination immediately
Assist with patient positioning draping transfers and safety monitoring
Perform sponge needle and instrument counts with circulating nurse
Prepare and label medications on the sterile field under RN supervision
Assist with specimen handling room turnover and equipment decontamination
Requirements
High School Diploma (required)
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program
Active National CST Certification (required)
Prior Operating Room experience preferred
Strong communication skills and ability to stand for long periods
