The Patient Services Representative - Float provides crucial administrative and operational support across our Respiratory and Sleep Disorders Specialists Care Centers. This role is vital for ensuring a smooth patient experience from initial check-in through follow-up care. The ideal candidate is a highly adaptable detail-oriented professional with a compassionate demeanor who can confidently manage front-office duties in various clinic settings.
Act as the first point of contact for patients families and visitors greeting them warmly and managing check-in and check-out processes.
Schedule patient appointments and coordinate follow-up care including appointments for sleep studies physician visits and testing.
Answer and triage a high volume of phone calls and assist with general office tasks such as filing scanning and faxing.
Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system ensuring all information is complete and confidential in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Float between various clinic locations as needed quickly adapting to new teams and workflows.
Collaborate with specialists to ensure seamless care for patients with respiratory conditions and sleep disorders.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Proven experience in a medical office or healthcare environment.
Strong understanding of medical terminology particularly related to respiratory and sleep medicine.
Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and effectively manage time in a fast-paced multi-site environment.
