Patient Services Representative Respiratory & Sleep Disorders Specialists

The Patient Services Representative - Float provides crucial administrative and operational support across our Respiratory and Sleep Disorders Specialists Care Centers. This role is vital for ensuring a smooth patient experience from initial check-in through follow-up care. The ideal candidate is a highly adaptable detail-oriented professional with a compassionate demeanor who can confidently manage front-office duties in various clinic settings.

• Act as the first point of contact for patients families and visitors greeting them warmly and managing check-in and check-out processes.

• Schedule patient appointments and coordinate follow-up care including appointments for sleep studies physician visits and testing.

• Answer and triage a high volume of phone calls and assist with general office tasks such as filing scanning and faxing.

• Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system ensuring all information is complete and confidential in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Float between various clinic locations as needed quickly adapting to new teams and workflows.

• Collaborate with specialists to ensure seamless care for patients with respiratory conditions and sleep disorders.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Proven experience in a medical office or healthcare environment.

• Strong understanding of medical terminology particularly related to respiratory and sleep medicine.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and effectively manage time in a fast-paced multi-site environment.
