This is a hybrid role open to candidates within commutable distance of Bridgwater or those open to relocation with support available. You will support system delivery from installation through commissioning to final handover.
Your future team focuses on improving quality readiness and confidence in system handovers.
Coordinate system handover from installation through commissioning to operations
Challenge contractor documentation quality completeness and submission timeliness
Resolve incomplete late or non-compliant handover documentation issues
Support system walkdowns verifying installation completeness and readiness
Track system handover schedules and report progress accurately
Support open point categorisation agreement and dispute resolution
Maintain accurate records within completions and handover databases
Interface with configuration management to confirm system configuration accuracy
Support development of handover procedures guidance and work instructions
Qualifications :
Lets start by saying that previous nuclear experience is beneficial but not essential. We actively encourage applications from engineers in other highly regulated sectors who are keen to transition into nuclear and fusion environments. We also recognise that no candidate will meet every requirement listed below so if you only have 5 or 6 of the required skills please dont hesitate.
Background delivering major construction or engineering projects
Strong ability recovering late or incomplete contractor documentation
Confident stakeholder engagement and contractor challenge capability
Hands-on experience completing multi-discipline system walkdowns
Working knowledge of completions and handover systems and processes
Experience within regulated or safety-critical environments
Understanding of NEC and or FIDIC style contracts
Knowledge of CDM Regulations and quality assurance requirements
