Job Summary

As a Market Field Engineer youll act as a trusted technical partner for internal and external stakeholders translating advanced adhesive and composite technologies into practical solutions.
This role suits a driven proactive and motivated personality who enjoys diving into technical detail working closely with R&D collegues and customers and continuously developing expertise in the field.
- Providing technical advice and support independently of selected key accounts engineering offices consultants etc. (including visits) for the product group (SikaForce SikaPower) belongs to RIGID BONDING applications independent from the market field
- Technical interpretation of customer and market needs and initiation of new developments based on PCP
- Develop innovating solutions for new or existing applications
- Implementation of new products (including field tests) and solutions in close cooperation with sales and marketing and other involved departments
- Technical responsibility for the specific product portfolio including maintenance
- Identification of corresponding and competitive gaps niches and opportunities
- Supporting local sales organizations and global key accounts in case of complaints/claims
- Arrange and support of trainings for customers and local SOs
- Work out of technical argumentation for sales and marketing
Qualifications :
Graduates with relevant degree and previous exposure to composites and/or adhesives technologies are welcome to apply.
- Degree in structural engineering material science chemistry or similar field or proven track record of relevant working experience
- Expertise in the area of composites manufacturing or related adhesives like epoxys or rigid polyurethanes
- Fluency in English
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- We are seeking an exceptionally motivated driven individual with excellent communication skills with the ability to think and act analytically.
Preferred
- Previous experience in R&D or Technical Support functions with emphsis on composites and/or adhesives technologies.
- Fluency in German
