Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is looking for an upbeat motivated and detail oriented person to hire on as one of their new Stewarding Supervisors. This role will allow you learn create & implement new skills to ensure our department is running at its full potential. This position will also allow you to get a grasp of the Food & Beverage division and understand how it all comes together to complete our guests ultimate experience.
Pay Rate: $26.87
Job Duties Include:
- Lead teach coach and inspire a team of up to 50 staff including Stewards Van drivers and equipment stockers for the day evening or night team
- Ensure that all colleagues are following the proper procedures and standards set in place by the department and the hotel
- Responsible for opening and closing shift
- Conduct performance discussions and ensure all progressive corrective actions forms are completed correctly and in a timely manner
- Encourage participation and input from all colleagues while promoting professional work habits that will ensure that the department is being guided at all time by Fairmonts Mission Vision and Values
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in food and beverage
- Knowledge of Food and Beverage and Stewarding an asset
- Previous leadership experience an asset
- Physically fit to lift trays repeatedly stand and walk for the duration of the shift
